Metabolic VO2 Exercise Test
Our Metabolic V02 Exercise Test will give you a detailed insight into your aerobic cardiovascular fitness system.
This test will accurately show your VO2 utilisation (amount of oxygen you're able to use during exercise),
heart rate response to increase of intensity, the precise number of calories your body burns during exercise and whether fats or carbohydrates are being used as the primary energy source. The test also maps your appropriate heart rate training zones, giving us scientific guidelines to determine the correct exercise program to meet your individual goals. Performed on either a treadmill (walking or running), cross trainer, Concept II Rower or your own road bike on our cycle ergometer, the test will provide us with all the information to determine your definitive training zones. Afterwards, we interpret your individualised results that will give you an understanding of your peak VO2, anaerobic threshold, calorie burn rate for weight loss or fitness training, and at what heart rate you burn Max Fat in your body. This test is essential for weight loss and control, general fitness and sports related performance goals.
