Metabolic VO2 Max & Anaerobic Threshold Athletic Performance Test

Your fitness test will be conducted in one of the most comprehensive fitness training facilities in London, using state-of-the-art technology and overseen by highly qualified staff. The test will be specific to your needs, as we are able to perform the test on either a treadmill, cross trainer, Concept II Rower or your own road bike on our cycle ergometer. The results from your metabolic profile will form the basis of your training program and will give your schedule structure, direction, purpose and ultimately; faster times for your given sport. Your test will provide you with your:

Aerobic Baseline and Fat Max
Anaerobic Threshold
RQ1 (the point at which you stop utilising fat for energy)
VO2 Max
Critical Power (essential for cyclists) & Functional Speed (for runners)
And a complete breakdown of the utilisation of carbohydrates and fat for training and race nutrition per heart beat from rest to max.

Our current test clients include novice, intermediate and elite triathletes (sprint to Ironman and World Championship age group Duathlon), Cat 2 cyclists, GB Junior rowers and many runners from sub 17min 5k to 2.40 marathon runners.
