There are two ways to measure your metabolism, at rest and during exercise. Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) is your burn rate at rest.

The RMR assessment is performed while resting comfortably in a chair and takes about 15 minutes. The measurements obtained will establish your resting calorific needs - the precise number of calories your body needs to maintain its basic functions (calories out). With this information you'll know how many calories your body needs in any given day, and the breakdown of fats, carbohydrates and protein percentages that make up your total ‘calories in’. Our detailed training program will enable you to work within your fitness levels making sure that your ‘calories out’ is at least 500 calories more than ‘calories in’. This will lead to a loss of 1 stone (6.6 Kilos) in under 3 months and most importantly, that’s 1 stone in fat and not water or muscle mass. We will also be able to further establish whether you are an efficient fat or carbohydrate burner, thereby eliminating the need to fall upon fad diets and quick fix remedies.
